1. When and why got into your sport; main achievements/successes;  why it is important to you; future goals in your sport? 

I got into figure skating when I was four years old. Personally, I don’t remember why I started figure skating, but, my mom said I liked figure skating, and that I was too hyper so I needed a sport.

My greatest achievement is that I represent the Philippines in Figure Skating as a Senior Lady. I have skated for fourteen years, almost fifteen, and I continue to skate and train. Sticking in this sport is not easy and I’m very proud of my accomplishments throughout the years.

I have always loved figure skating, and it is a huge part of who I am. Whenever I get injured and have to take time off of the ice, I feel like something is missing in my life.

My goals include the Olympics, but other than that, I want to continue competing internationally. I also want a National Title under my belt,  more triples, and to stay healthy.

2. Injuries experienced; what Dr Camara’s / Intercare’s treatments you have received; what it has done for you.

Injuries include: fractured scapula, sprained ankles and wrists, herniated disk on L4 L5 that hit the sciatic nerve, over used knee, hard fall on hip resulting in not being able to walk for two weeks, Labrum tear on Hip.

I received Chiropractic adjustment, Rock Blades, and Fascial Manipulation.

It was amazing, it was extremely helpful for the pain in my hip, back, and shoulder.  I was adjusted, and treated and the harsh pain I felt went away. It gave me confidence that my body with do what it needs to do for training and competition. I didn’t have to worry that the pain was going to limit me, because after treatment the pain was gone, or very minimal.
