1. How did you feel about your Assessment and Plan to address your concerns?
I have undergone two (2) major lumbosacral spine surgeries. The first in 1999 and the second in 2001.
The low back pain returned in 2013. I also experienced left leg pain and numbness in the left thigh.
MRI in 2015 was medically interpreted as Adjacent Segment Disease at L3/L4. In 2017, I underwent Facet Block Injection and Foraminal Epidural Steroid Injections at L3/L4 bilateral. There was a temporary relief from pain but lasted only for one month. The pain intensified in December 2017 including at the Thoracic and Cervical areas. The headaches started in January 2018. The surgeons recommended another spine surgery as a remedy for my problem. I was very depressed and desperate. Then, I decided to consult Dr. Martin Camara of INTERCARE – Greenhills Branch on February 13, 2018.

2. How has the Treatments helped or not helped?
The assessment was absolutely straightforward. The plan was intensive, 3 sessions per week for one month for the first phase. I was determined to get better, so I quickly decided to undergo the treatment program proposed by Dr. Camara.

3. How has coming to Intercare affected your health, posture, fitness and / or lifestyle?
The treatments have helped me a lot. The pains in the lumbar, thoracic and cervical areas were reduced. After two months, I could perform the basic motor functions with greater ease. My flexibility has improved and my mobility increased. Emotional and psychological stress were lessened.

4. Any other comments you would like to share regarding your treatment?
Before, the pain controlled my life. My great fear of pain has diminished. Nowadays, I can manage the pain. I have actively resumed my work and profession. My personality and attitude have changed positively. From a reclusive person, I now go out on social functions occasionally. My goal is to increase my physical activities, fitness and hopefully endurance.
