The Official Sports Injury and Recovery Partner of the Philippine Olympic Committee
The Philippines participated in the 2017 Asian Winter Games held in Sapporo and
Obihiro, Japan last February 19 to 26, 2017. The team is consisted of 29 athletes in three sports
(four disciplines) and nine officials including Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Chairman
William Ramirez, Philippine Sports Institute (PSI) National Deputy Training Director and Chief
Henry Daut, Sports Chiropractor and Team Physician Dr. Martin Camara. They represented the
largest Filipino delegation at the Asian Winter Games. Carlo Garrucho was the country’s flag
bearer during the parade of nations at the opening ceremony.
