HOW TO STAY PHYSICALLY ACTIVE DURING QUARANTINE | SIMPLE WORKOUT ROUTINE

This video will discuss the minimum amount of exercise necessary to maintain health and well-being. We will tackle the general concepts around health and fitness & efficient ways to stay healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Keep in mind that OPTIMUM FUNCTIONALITY means different things for different people considering the age and lifestyle. It is also important to understand the difference between moderate activity versus vigorous activity.

MODERATE ACTIVITY can be in the form of brisk walking, walking up and down the stairs, or gardening while running and cycling are considered VIGOROUS ACTIVITY.

The magic number to remember is 150 minutes of MODERATE ACTIVITY per week and you will diminish the possibility of dying prematurely by 33%.
